  1. How long have you been open?

    Sensations stared in 2008 selling boxes of sushi to offices in the costa del sol. In 2008 we opened Sensations by the casino and in January 2009 we moved to more suitable premises and have been here beside the bullring ever since.

  2. Do you freeze the fish? Is the fish fresh?

    By law we have to freeze the fish for 48 hours before serving to customers.

  3. Do you have vegetarian dishes?

    Of course, we have starters such as fried tofu, edamame beans and miso. Set Menus, hoso makis and a few nigiris including cream cheese, avocado and mango.

  4. I am pregnant, what can I eat at Sensations Marbella?

    We would suggest that you avoid all raw fish. We have cooked fish sushi options in addition to chicken options as well as many options for vegetarians. For example the Sensations futomaki is a great option for our pregnant customers including cooked salmon teriyaki, cream cheese and avocado.

  5. I can't decide - what would you recommend?

    Sensations 2015 Futomaki is very popular with our customers. For 2 people we would recommend Kyoto menu or Maki menu

  6. How many pieces are in a futomaki?

    10 pieces

  7. Do you deliver? And if so, where to?

    YES! For standard orders we deliver anywhere from the Marbella arch (near funny beach) to the Benahavis petrol station.

  8. Do you charge for delivery to these locations?

    No, we have free delivery for standard orders in this area with a minimum order value of €25.

  9. I'm having a party and live outside of your delivery area, can you still deliver?

    Yes! For large orders, including party platters we can extend our delivery range. Just give us a call or send us an email to discuss.

  10. Is soya sauce included?

    Yes - soya sauce , chopsticks, ginger and wasabi is included however please ask us if you require extra.

  11. I’m allergic to gluten what can I eat?

    We have a list of our menu with all allergens included in each dish, we would be happy to help.

  12. What time do you close?

    In the winter, we close the restaurant at 23:00. Last tables at 22:30 and last take away orders at 22:45. In the summer, we close at midnight however we are flexible depending on how busy we are.

  13. Do I have to reserve a table?

    In the summer, to avoid dissapointment, absolutely yes! In the winter, we suggest you do just to be on the safe side as our customers can be unpredictable and often all come at once - this is especially true for groups of more than five.

  14. How many pieces are in a nigiri?

    2 pieces

  15. Can I change some pieces in the menu?

    We do not mind making changes if you have allergies. We do not make changes to set menus and this changes the price completely. However we can change some pieces within reason, please ask a member of the team!

  16. Can I order half of a futo maki?

    Sorry but no. Our futomakis are made to a certain size. If this is too much we suggest you look at our hoso makis or our set menus.

  17. Can I add an ingredient to my futomaki?

    This depends on the ingredient you wish to add. It can affect this price and the size and may simply be impossible to roll. We do not recommend this.

  18. Can I make it spicy?

    Most of our products are available spicy at your request. Some however we do not recommend spicy as it may affect the taste, and not for the better.

  19. How many pieces would you recommend per person?

    Obviously this depends on how hungry you are, however we suggest anything from 8 pieces to 15 per person! Maybe 20 for the hungrier individual. We have seen 60 by one person.

  20. Can I pay on card by delivery?

    Yes!

  21. What is the minimum order for delivery?

    25€

  22. Do you accept "ticket restaurant"

    Yes, this is the only one we accept at the moment.

  23. Do you have noodles?

    Not right now, but watch this space. We do however recommend our chicken yaktiori, gyozas and spring rolls!
